Sensitive and gentle, Sheep are sweet people who seem not entirely of this world. “How can anyone be so good?” people often ask about them. Whether that’s true or just the image they’re projecting, people of this sign emanate a sweet and non-threatening energy. Like sheep, they often have a cloud-like puff of hair. Sheep may also have luminous eyes or some kind of an ethereal aura about them.
The Sheep’s imagination can be vivid and amazing. However, this sign may have trouble distinguishing between fantasy and reality. You may hear from teachers that your little Sheep has been daydreaming in class, or that your child would earn straight A’s if only he applied himself more. Yet, this is not the sign whose spirit you want to break. A dreamy Sheep named Steve Jobs was fired from Apple in the mid-1980s because he wasn’t a great executive. Yet, his ability to “think different” has revolutionized the way we communicate.
Parents of Sheep should create a cozy, distraction-free space for your child to complete homework assignments, study or just unwind. The sensitive Sheep absorbs everyone’s emotions and can get easily scattered as a result. This is the kid who could benefit from yoga, gentle music or guided meditations. The key is to nurture a sense of confidence and security in Sheep, but not to enable them. Sheep can view themselves as victims, which is a mentality NOT to foster.
Timid and self-protective, Sheep can harbor many insecurities. To guard against pain, they may isolate themselves from the wider world, live in their fantasies or hide behind a false persona. Tending to internal issues is paramount for Sheep, who need deep healing to cope with life and to build their own resilience.
More than any sign, Sheep are prone to chemical addictions and other forms of escapism. Like metaphorical sheep, they follow the herd, and should choose their friends wisely. In truth, Sheep are only comfortable around a few trusted people. To stay healthy, this sign must incorporate people, habits and activities that reinforce their strength and keep them grounded in reality.
