Serene and ethereal, Rabbits have a softness to their auras, much like cuddly bunnies. These sweet souls can be a little mysterious at times, and may keep their emotions private. Yet, they also seem to wear their hearts on their sleeves, emanating compassion and tenderness.
The ultimate empaths, Rabbits are tuned into other people, sometimes to the point of being psychic. Beneath the surface, there’s a lot going on. Rabbits are delicate souls who at times seem too fragile for the trials of everyday life. They need support, and constant reminders of their own resilience. As children, Rabbits can be extremely shy and sweet, hiding behind their parents or older siblings.
While their attachment can be endearing, it can set up a pattern of dependence (even codependence) for this sign. You may need to work on clipping those apron strings, or at least, loosening them. Start by setting up “parallel play” scenarios where you and and your bunny are together, but doing separate things. Organize play dates that are also get-togethers for you, so your little Rabbit makes friends but knows that mama is nearby.
With their vivid imaginations, Rabbits want to escape the harshness of reality. These kids can live in their imaginations, nursing their emotional wounds or shielding their sensitivity with escapism. At times, they do this through self-destructive behavior and chemical addictions, like Rabbits Drew Barrymore and Whitney Houston. Most Rabbits can benefit from a strong therapist to draw out the subconscious turmoil that brews under their gentle facades. Art and music are healing outlets for the Rabbit.
Pretty people with kind faces and hearts, Rabbits find their true strength by healing the world and being of service. When your Rabbit is old enough, working together on a community service project can spark a lifelong passion in this sign. Volunteer at a local garden, an animal rescue or a park cleanup. Becoming a UN Goodwill Ambassador turned Rabbit Angelina Jolie from a troubled soul into a global peace activist who has inspired millions.
